Silence screams at you

 Its the silence of my screams,
Its the silence of my dreams.
Its the thoughts in my head
When I can't sleep at night.

Though my body is weary,
And my eyes are blurry,
My mind won't stop
It is spinning like a top.

Dreams of you
Pass before my eyes,
Memories of passion
I can't describe.

Slumber's embrace
I sorely need.
My disgrace
I steadily feed.

By my side
I wish you would lie.
With me tonight
Just make it right.

Slumber come to my rescue,
And take this away from me.
That which I desire
Was never meant to be.
